About the Rosslyn Neighborhood
Rosslyn is more business oriented than residential, and is a 15 minute walk over the Key Bridge to Georgetown where M street and Wisconsin in Georgetown will offer plenty to do. This makes Rosslyn a nice alternative to staying in Georgetown which doesn’t have Metro access and is more expensive. The metro stop makes trips into the city, National Monuments and Museums quick and easy via the Orange and Blue Lines. Despite being a relatively bland area also right up the hill is Court House and Clarendon which both are just minutes away via Metro, or a quick cab ride up Wilson BLVD. Clarendon especially is home to many restaurants, bars, ice cream shops and shopping.
Airport, AMTrak, MARC & VRE Access
Rosslyn is a accessible by Metro without a transfer to Regan National Airport, the ride will take about 15 minutes via the Blue Line. Dulles International is accessible via a direct bus route which makes two stops, the first being at Rosslyn. BWI is a hike. To get to the closest VRE stop take the orange line until it meet with L’efant Plaza. MARC and AMTrak can best be accessed through Union Station.
