The Best Foggy Bottom Hotel: River Inn
Why: Competitive Rates, Large Suite Rooms
There are five hotel choices near the Foggy Bottom Metro station at George Washington University Campus. We recommend the River Inn for its competitive rates and large suite style rooms. All rooms are equipped with a kitchenette, and larger rooms have living areas. Some drawbacks to the River Inn are that guests remarked the hotel could use décor updates, and that the hotel does not offer breakfast (for free) in the morning. For travelers who want to prioritize a hotel with a large room and kitchenette we like the River Inn.
If you are not in favor of the River Inn we suggest looking into the nearby Residence Inn, or Lombrady. Each of these hotels caters to guests who want extra living space and a kitchenette. Guests who are looking for a boutique hotel that would accommodate a romantic getaway will want to check out the Lombardy.
